Its Festival Season in the NW

When the snows begin to melt and the rain makes the rivers rise, Festival Season is in the air.

I loaded the Truck and hitched up the Trailer to head out to the Upper Wind River Race in Stabler WA, marking the begining of Festival Season in the NorthWest.

The kayak Mass Start always makes for broken paddles and bruised egos.

Always a local favorite on a clasic NW River. The race started many years back as a rafting event, but in recent years, the hardshells have been invited, gaining popularity every year.

I was hoping for a Cataraft Mass Start.

NorthWest Nookie Paddler, Matt Kurle, broke out my Old School DragoRossi longboat for some good times and some, 'what the hell is that' conversation.

The Wind is not know for Playspots, but we always seem to find one to throw some spins and wheels on.
Many more Nookie travels are in store this season. Check in often for travel updates and upcoming events
